In the vast majority of cases, your interview makes or breaks your admissions chances, ranging anywhere between 40% to 100% weightage for the final offer. Most universities have an average admissions rate of around 25%, while Voyager Academy students had over a 90% success rate in 2025/26.
Voyager Academy prepares students for all the general Undergraduate and Postgraduate interview formats (MMI, panel and semi-structured interviews) for both Medicine and Dentistry. Preparation develops the core skills that transfer across formats, while ensuring students understand the distinct timing, style and expectations of the specific universities they are interviewing at.
Preparation is available for all major Medicine and Dentistry interview pathways. We are particularly well-versed for interviews at Western Sydney University, UNSW, JMP, Charles Sturt University, Monash, UQ, the University of Adelaide and Griffith Dentistry. Current mock formats are designed around the distinctive requirements of these universities.
This is common. Students first develop strong foundations that apply across interviews, then refine their preparation around the specific themes, values and formats of each university. This creates efficient preparation without producing generic or repetitive answers.
As early as you can! We get it, you just finished your HSC, or are balancing interviews with university studies, but your interview is extremely important.
Students can begin with foundational preparation before invitations are released, or join later for focused lessons and mock interview practice. The level of support is adjusted to the time available, the number of universities applied for and the student's baseline performance (assessed in lesson 1).
No. Strong interview answers should sound clear, thoughtful and authentic rather than memorised. Students develop a personal bank of experiences, reflections and examples, then learn how to adapt them naturally to ethical dilemmas, teamwork questions, conflict scenarios and motivation-based prompts.
Mocks are designed to replicate the timing, format and style of the student's target university as closely as possible. Students receive detailed verbal feedback, written feedback and a recording, allowing them to identify patterns in their performance and make targeted improvements.
We recommend sitting at least 2 mocks in total, with at least 1 for each university you're serious about getting an offer for.
In the 2025 application round, more than 90% of Voyager Academy interview students received a Medicine or Dentistry offer. This reflects the outcomes of that cohort, not a guaranteed result: final outcomes also depend on each student's preparation, performance and the competitiveness of the relevant university.
