Our Commitment to You

At Voyager Academy, we believe every student's journey is different. Whether you're chasing an offer for medicine or dentistry, or simply want to feel on top of your chemistry, you'll have personalised support the whole way — no big-corporation feel, just clear guidance from people who have walked the path themselves and genuinely care how you go.

That's really why we exist. Every tutor here has sat the UCAT, faced the interviews and earned their own offers, and we take real pride in helping our students do the same. In the 2025/26 round, over 90% of our students received an offer for medicine or dentistry — and this year we're focused on widening that impact and writing even more success stories, especially for the students who didn't get in the first time.

Meet Your Tutors

Every Voyager tutor has sat the UCAT, faced the interviews and earned multiple offers — the strategies we teach are the ones that actually worked for us.

Overall UCAT score

Hey, I'm Soham! I've been tutoring for almost 4 years, and I founded Voyager Academy to widen my impact on students aiming for medicine and dentistry. I've sat the UCAT multiple times, and have 150+ hours of UCAT tutoring under my belt, so I know what strategies work and which ones don't.

Besides med school, tutoring, and running the operations at Voyager, you'll find me hanging out with my friends, watching movies, and following the cricket.

Verbal Reasoning — scored twice

Hi, I'm David! I know firsthand that the path to medicine isn't always a straight line, in my two attempts at the UCAT, I scored 880 in VR both times.

I love being able to share my knowledge and experience with people whose shoes I was in only a few short years ago; it's really rewarding.

Outside of medicine and tutoring, I love riding motorcycles, going on hikes, and spending time with friends and family.

What Our Students Say

WK — UNSW Medicine + Offer to WSU Medicine
“Soham has helped me immensely with my preparation for medical school interviews. He firstly provided me with tailored knowledge and insight into the WSU interview process and guided me through how to answer specific WSU questions that may be asked. This helped immensely in me acing my WSU interview. Furthermore on only a days notice he helped me with some rapid fire UNSW questions and assistance that was tremendous in its quality and accuracy as it helped me attain a placement in UNSW medicine as well. I owe my place in medical school largely to Soham and would recommend him to anyone trying to prepare for interviews.”
Ketaki — WSU Medicine
“I found Soham's tutoring highly beneficial in gaining both a strong understanding of the MMI interview style and self confidence. I liked how we went straight into practicing answers and working on my structure early on. I appreciated the patience and clarity of thought he showed when explaining his feedback. I learnt the importance of signposting and utilising reading time efficiently to answer with clarity and confidence. The mock exams were designed in a way that I would be exposed to a range of scenarios and difficulties. Thanks to Soham's dedicated approach and diligently crafted questions I was able to secure an offer to Western Sydney Medicine :)”
Anonymous — Griffith Dentistry
“When I started my preparation journey I felt extremely overwhelmed, especially having been unsuccessful in the UCAT before. Soham's mentorship helped me stay focussed on what I needed to improve, and helped me stay self-assured. As a result of my prep, I received a UCAT score of 2340, which was a major improvement from previous years, where I failed to pass the 70th percentile. Furthermore, after doing some mock interviews with Soham, I was able to receive an offer to Griffith Dentistry. The mock interviews scenarios were extremely similar to the real interview, and I am so grateful for Soham's support which got me over the line!”
Emil — WSU Medicine
“Soham's tutoring was great in so many ways. He was kind and always considerate, always accommodating for my needs like the time of the class and what I wanted to do or learn in the class. He was patient and taught the fundamentals and the specific techniques I used for my interview. His teaching style was also laid back but in a good way, where there was no over bearing strictness, rather like a teacher in school who actively wants the best for you. He made it comfortable for me to open up about my struggles with interviews and he gave me great, specific advice which was extremely helpful in helping me fix my insecurities and mistakes. It was more than just the tuition, as he always checked up on me and my wellbeing. Overall a fantastic tutor who I can gladly recommend to anyone in need of a tutor. It was with all of this help that I was able to thoroughly prepare for my WSU med interview which I ended up getting an offer for as well. 10/10 tutor!”

“Soham was an incredible tutor who taught me the essential skills to succeed in medical interviews and finally receive an offer. He provides a thorough list of questions and prompts which allows you to familiarise yourself with a wide range of questions you may not have encountered before. His feedback is always detailed, addressing your approach to the question, the content of your answer, pacing, structure etc. In times where you may need additional support, he is also very flexible in his schedule and always willing to help.”
